1. Who We Are and Where We Operate

loving.partners is operated by Really Useful Software Pty Limited in Australia. The service is offered for use in Australia only, and these terms are written on the basis that the platform, users, subscriptions, moderation, and support operations are Australian based.

We do not market or operate the service for other jurisdictions. If you access loving.partners from outside Australia, you do so on your own initiative and you must not use the service unless your access is lawful and consistent with these terms.

2. Eligibility and Account Requirements

You may only use loving.partners if you are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, and using the platform for lawful personal dating or relationship purposes.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete account information.

  • You may maintain only your own account and must not impersonate another person.

  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account credentials.

  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not satisfy our eligibility, safety, verification, or subscription requirements.

3. Mandatory Liveness Verification and Video Profiles

loving.partners is built around verified video identity. Profile activation requires successful completion of our proprietary liveness check and creation of a profile video recorded on the site using our workflow.

Pre-recorded uploads are not permitted. Deepfakes, masks, voice alteration intended to mislead, screen replays, edited clips, synthetic media, or any other attempt to defeat the liveness process are a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate account termination without refund, subject to applicable law.

  • You consent to us capturing and processing the video, image, audio, device, behavioural, and related verification data reasonably required to confirm that you are a real person presenting live during verification.

  • Your profile content must be created through the tools and recording methods we make available on loving.partners.

  • We may require you to repeat verification at onboarding, after account changes, during safety reviews, or at any other time reasonably required to protect the integrity of the service.

4. Subscriptions, Trials, Billing, Renewal, and Call Credits

Access to loving.partners is provided through a PayPal trial subscription or a paid PayPal subscription. By starting a trial or purchasing a subscription, you authorise payment processing through PayPal in accordance with the plan presented to you during the on-boarding process.

  • Trial periods, pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms are the ones displayed to you when you subscribe.

  • Unless stated otherwise at the time of sign-up, subscriptions renew until cancelled.

  • You are responsible for managing your active PayPal billing arrangement and for ensuring your payment details remain valid.

  • The service is built around user-to-user video calling. Your monthly plan may include a stated bundle of call credits, and additional call-credit bundles may be offered for purchase during the billing period.

  • Call credits are required to place eligible video calls through the platform. If your available call-credit balance is zero, you will not be able to start a call until credits are included through an active subscription or an additional bundle purchase.

  • The number of credits included with a subscription, the price of additional bundles, and any conditions relating to use, expiry, or rollover are the ones disclosed to you at the time of sign-up, renewal, or purchase.

  • If a payment fails, we may suspend or restrict access until the subscription is brought back into good standing.

  • Except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or otherwise stated by us, trial fees and subscription payments are non-refundable once charged.

5. Safety, Conduct, and Reporting

We expect users to act lawfully, honestly, and respectfully. We do not permit harassment, coercion, stalking, threats, hate conduct, fraud, impersonation, exploitation, sexually abusive behaviour, or the sharing of intimate content without consent.

loving.partners provides tools for introduction and video communication, but each user remains solely responsible for how they interact with others on and off the platform. You should exercise caution, use your own judgment, and take appropriate safety steps before sharing personal information, sending money, or meeting another user in person.

We may investigate complaints, review profile and verification material, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, or platform integrity.

If there is an immediate risk to a person or suspected unlawful conduct, we may preserve or disclose relevant information to law enforcement, regulators, or other appropriate bodies where permitted or required by law.

Our verification and moderation processes are designed to reduce misuse, but they do not guarantee any user's identity, intentions, truthfulness, legality, or future conduct, and they are not a substitute for your own care and judgment.

We do not conduct criminal history screening, real-time behavioural monitoring, or independent background checks unless we expressly state otherwise. Users must make their own decisions about whether, when, and how to interact with another user.

You retain ownership of content you create and submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, moderate, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the loving.partners service.

  • You must have all rights needed to submit your content.

  • You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, obscene, exploitative, or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.

  • You must not record, copy, distribute, exploit, or disclose another user's video calls, profile material, or personal information except as allowed by law and with any consent that may be required.

  • We may remove or restrict content that breaches these terms or that we reasonably consider harmful to users, the service, or our legal obligations.

7. Privacy and Verification Data

Because loving.partners uses a mandatory proprietary liveness process and on-site video capture, we collect and process identity-adjacent technical and profile data that is necessary to operate the platform, verify authenticity, administer subscriptions, moderate safety issues, and comply with Australian law.

8. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access immediately where we reasonably believe this is necessary to address safety risks, suspected fraud, verification failures, unlawful conduct, payment default, misuse of the platform, or breach of these terms.

Termination does not affect rights and liabilities that accrued before termination, including outstanding payment obligations, enforcement rights, or rights required to investigate misconduct.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of loving.partners from time to time. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, although we will operate the service with reasonable care and skill.

We may also update these terms. Updated terms take effect when posted on the site unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Subject to those non-excludable rights, loving.partners is provided as an online dating platform and communication service only. We do not guarantee matches, relationship outcomes, compatibility, identity accuracy, user intentions, user conduct, or the safety of any online or offline interaction. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, for statements made by users, for meetings, travel, accommodation, gifts, transfers of money, or other arrangements made between users, or for any loss, damage, injury, or harm arising from user-to-user interactions except to the extent caused by our own breach of a non-excludable legal obligation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of communicating with other users, including by video call, and of meeting users in person. Our liability for loss or damage arising out of the service is otherwise limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant subscription period or, where the law permits, the resupply of the affected services.

11. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold harmless Really Useful Software Pty Limited, its officers, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses reasonably arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of law or the rights of another person.

12. Contact and Support

User support, billing questions, complaints, and legal notices must be submitted through the contact options made available on our contact page.

You should keep your contact details current so we can send service notices, billing notices, and account-related communications to you.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree that any dispute relating to loving.partners will be dealt with in the courts of Queensland, unless applicable Australian law requires otherwise.
